WAKEFIELD - Thomas J. Sullivan, 45, a salesman for McLaughlin and Moran Inc., died suddenly at home on July 17th. Tom was the loving husband for 13 years of Tammy (Fazzino) Sullivan, and devoted father to his children Jack and Ellie.

Born in Newport, he was a son of James and Jessie (Booth) Sullivan of Narragansett, and he was a graduate of Rogers High School, in Newport. His brothers James and Kevin Sullivan of Newport and David Sullivan of North Kingstown, survive Tom. He also leaves his sisters Anne Sullivan Updegrove of Wakefield, Jean Moran of Providence, Marie Retlev of Bristol and Clare Lindberg of Pacific Grove, CA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Tom was an avid fisherman, golfer and gourmet cook. He loved the outdoors and spent a year of his life working as a lumberjack in Oregon, and he also loved the Boston Red Sox. He was employed as a sales representative for McLaughlin and Moran, Inc. for twenty-one years. His warm smile and quick wit will be sorely missed. Tom's happiest days were spent at home with his family.

He was a member of Christ The King Church, Kingston and The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Dennis E. Collins, Division One, Newport as well as their golf league.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial, to celebrate Tom's Life, Friday at 10 a.m. in Christ The King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston. Visiting hours will be in The Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, Thursday, 4-8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to The Jack and Ellie Sullivan Education Fund, c/o Citizens Bank, (any branch).
